What to Bring on Your Unsalted Outfitters Fishing Charter:
- Michigan Fishing License: Required for all anglers over 17 years old. You can purchase it online through the Michigan DNR.
- Sunglasses / Hat: Protect yourself from the sun.
- Non-Slip Shoes: Ensure safety by wearing shoes with good grip. No work or cowboy boots allowed.
- Photography Equipment: Capture your fishing experience!
- Warm Jacket or Sweater: Weather on the water can be chilly.
- Rain Gear: Be prepared for any weather conditions.
- Sunscreen: Apply before boarding to protect your skin.
- Food & Beverages: Bring along any snacks or drinks you’d like (beer and wine are allowed, but no hard liquor).
- Cooler with Ice: To keep your fish fresh on the way home.
- Dramamine or Seasickness Prevention: If you’re prone to seasickness, bring along some motion sickness tablets.
What Unsalted Outfitters Provides:
- Fishing Gear: All rods, reels, lures, and baits will be supplied for your trip.
Fish Cleaning:
- We will clean your fish for you, but be sure to bring ice to keep your catch cold on your way home.
Rules:
- Beer and wine are allowed.
- No hard liquor.
- No smoking on board, unless the captain gives approval.
Gratuity:
- A customary tip is typically 20-30% of the charter price.
Number of Guests:
- Our boat can comfortably accommodate up to 6 adults.
