This is the 3rd time our family has had 3 generations out on a fishing trip, but the first time we actually had success. Cpt Scott and first mate Mike were super knowledgeable about the lake and local area around Holland. They got us on the fish in the first hour and kept us on them until the last line came in. All 6 people in our group caught fish, for a total of 9 on the day. Thanks to Cpt Scott and first mate Mike helping us make some great memories!

Our family had a blast with Captain Gavin, and could not believe all the fish we caught. Could not have asked for a better trip – was first time taking my son (13) out fishing on Lake Michigan, and also first time out on a charter for my brother-in-law. My husband and I booked trip to take our grandson and his fiancé. Captain Scott and captain Andy were so excited to make it a wonderful day for all. It was obvious that they both enjoy sharing their love of fishing with their guests for the day! We caught ten fish which was so exciting, but it was also amazing to watch them set everything up!! There is a science to what they do and they do it so well! Thank you for our memory making trip!

What an amazing experience Captain Scott and Tommy provided today! It was the day after the salmon contest which had many boat on the big lake. We were one of very few boats out along without clouds. Technology used was amazing – a true learning opportunity. These men were very friendly, supportive, and knowledgeable about fishing! Along with myself and two other outstanding female Veterans brought in a hefty haul of salmon and lake trout. They even cleaned the fish for us!! Did I mention there were cool tunes as well? Thank you for the wonderful adventure and memories for a lifetime. I put my reservation in for next year.

From the moment I booked this trip for my husband’s 40th birthday, Captain Scott was attentive and a pleasure to work with. I had planned on it just being my husband and I, but the night before, all 3 of my children decided they wanted to go. Captain Scott was great about the additional passengers and it being Mother’s Day, made the day even more special. The lake was much more choppy than forecasted and after trying for a hour close to shore with no luck, we decided to try a bit more offshore. Knowing it would be even more rough, Captain Scott left that call up to us, because we had kiddos on board. I appreciated his concern with our comfort and assured him we were fine with rough waters. Captain Scott and First Mate Matt worked hard to find the fish and get us all set up for success! I cannot thank them enough for all their hard work that morning, and helping us make some memories that will last forever (and for filling our freezer!). We ended up with 4 huge Kings and a nice Lake Trout. The kids had a blast riding in the boat and watching us reel in our catches. The fish was quickly cleaned and bagged up, which was very appreciated. I highly recommend Unsalted Outfitters!!
